Dad's sugery...

Hugh Meiners right before checking in for colon surgery - Wednesday August 6 at 10:45 a.m.

 

This is him the morning after the surgery.

 

This is him waiting for me to pick him up - after being discharged Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., less than four full days afer the surgery!!

 

Signing the discharge papers. Not soon enough for him.

 

So, I'm scanning in old family photos...

...and I find Grandma Leona sitting on the beach in California with her sister Thelma - just like Baby Jane and Blanche. And we all know how that turned out.
